Edward Castillo, MAI has been active in commercial real estate since 2003. As President of CCP Group since 2013, he has prepared valuation and underwriting analyses for institutional lenders, developers, investors, brokers, attorneys, insurance companies, government institutions, and others — supporting credit decisions across income-producing retail, industrial, office, and hospitality asset types throughout Southern California.
Prior to CCP, Mr. Castillo spent nearly a decade in commercial real estate valuation with Cushman & Wakefield and NPV Advisors (2005–2013). At Cushman & Wakefield, he was part of the National Retail Valuation Group, appraising shopping center portfolios from neighborhood to regional to lifestyle/entertainment. At NPV Advisors, he conducted quarterly and annual portfolio valuations for pension funds and REITs across retail, industrial, office, and multifamily properties in California and Arizona.
From 2003 to 2005, Mr. Castillo was part of a commercial real estate sales brokerage team at Marcus & Millichap's Newport Beach office, focused on neighborhood, community, and power center transactions in California, Arizona, and Nevada. He holds the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute — the highest appraisal credential in the industry — and is a licensed Certified General Appraiser in California.
